The intuitive knowledge we have of the land of our birth country plays an essential role in our growth. As we explore our environment as children we discover the plants, the animal and insects. We come to understand the smells, sights, sounds and feelings associated with the weather and seasons.
When in a new country, uprooted from the land of childhood experiences and understanding, there is a realisation that this intimacy with the landscape of our homeland plays an important role in happiness and appreciation of life. This film explores the difficulties for a refugee to accept a new land while still holding onto a longing for what has been lost.
